Why You Need To Repressurise Your Ideal Boiler
- Maintains Efficiency - Your boiler needs the right pressure (1.0-1.5 bar) to circulate hot water properly.
- Prevents shutdown - Low pressure triggers error codes (like F1) and can cause the boiler to shut down.
- Compensates for water loss - Pressure drops naturally over time, especially after bleeding radiators or due to small leaks.
How To Repressurise an Ideal Boiler
- Turn off the boiler and let it cool
- Check the pressure gauge (Should be between 1.0 - 1.5 bar).
- Locate the filling loop - A silver braided hose with two valves under the boiler.
- Open both valves slowly to let water in - You will hear it flowing.
- Watch the gauge and stop at around 1.3 bar.
- Close both valves tightly.
- Switch the boiler back on and reset if needed.
